چکیده
The power system is changing towards a decarbonized one. Kyoto protocol and the Paris climate agreement have prompted many nations to approve energy policies based on volatile renewable sources (RESs). However, integration into grid of generated by RESs as well electrification heating, gas transportation sectors becoming huge challenge. Planning industrial tertiary sites net-zero systems (NZESs) might contribute advance solutions fully integrating system. This study aims point out importance planning large consumer such NZESs, depict holistic modeling approach for this. methodology multi-layer approach, which focuses on-site generation RESs, improvement efficiency, increase flexibility. A qualitative case has been conducted. It considers Net-Zero Energy Data Center located in Germany. Results that new interdisciplinary particular social analysis methods are necessary. They be used accelerating decision making process during RES-based systems. Besides, computation cooling systems, technologies continuously emerging market should taken account. If designed, they significantly decrease whole demand data center. Finally, optimal sizing storage (electric thermal) an expedient choice performance indicators evaluate technology options identified key factor decreasing external sites,

Due to low energy price, economic optimization of consumption has no justification for users in Iran. Nowadays, the issue of ending fossil fuels, production of greenhouse gases and the main role of building in consumption of considerable amount of energy has drawn the focus of global researches to a new concept called net zero energy building. In this study, modeling, simulation and energy anal...
متن کاملA Novel Electrochemical Membrane Bioreactor as a Potential Net Energy Producer for Sustainable Wastewater Treatment
One possible way to address both water and energy shortage issues, the two of major global challenges, is to recover energy and water resource from wastewater. Herein, a novel electrochemical membrane bioreactor (EMBR) was developed to recover energy from wastewater and meantime harvest clean water for reuse. With the help of the microorganisms in the biocatalysis and biodegradation process, ne...
متن کاملNet-Zero Energy Building Enhancement for a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum Educational Facility
In the United States, university buildings use 17% of total non-residential building energy per year. According to the NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory), the average lifecycle of a building in a university is 42 years with an EUI (energy use intensity) of 23 kWh/m/y. Current building and energy codes limit the EUI to 16 kWh/m/y for new school buildings; this benchmark can vary dependi...
